Biocube 16 filtration.

Since you guys are amazing and know way more than I do. What you you recomend me having in my media basket in the back of my biocube. Right now I have purigen and chemi-pure in it (along with filter floss of course). I'm asking because my phosphates are always next to non existent.

What are you trying to accomplish?
What other filtration are you using for the biocube?

Just that in the back of it. I have 15lbs of live rock and 15lbs of live sand. I just dont want my dinos to come back and my phosphates are always at nothing.

I’d personally go with a bag of carbon and leave out the purigen and chemi-pure.

What livestock are you keeping?
What are you feeding and how often?

I have a small clown and a small cardinal. Almost forgot about my lawnmower blenny. I feed less than a quarter of a frozen cube a day, closer to an 1/8th of a cube.

I’d saw try swapping out for carbon.
Then wait a week and test for phosphate.
If you’re still having low phosphate issues, feed a bit more.

I'm always worried about over feeding. I gave up on my freshwater tank with my girlfriend over feeding. I have a Mr Aqua 22 long with some danios and a couple blue "lobsters" in it. I've never seen danios so fat before.
