Chemi Pure Elite?

what are your guys thoughts or experiences with Chemi pure or Chemi pure elite?

I was using Chemi-pure Elite in my tank for the first two months it was running, and I really liked it. For the past month or so, I have been running "media-less," and I do notice a little more algae growth. All in all IME, I'd say it is a good product. The Chemi-pure Elite removes silicates and phosphates IIRC, so that's a plus. As to what extent it removes these things, I can't say as I don't test for them. The only thing is, it's a bit pricey -then again, I'm a college kid ;D
