Clean/sterilize acrylic tank

I just picked-up a used acrylic tank and would like to know the best way to sterilize it. I was thinking about using bleach, any negatives about using bleach on acrylic?

I would just use Boiling water or let it dry out and then clean with water. Why do you need it sterilized? what was in it before and what is going to be in it.

bleach should be just fine, but honestly I see no reason to do that. if your worried, fill it with freshwater for a few days.

Great! I'll just fill it up with some water. I just want a fresh start.
