What does it mean if a fish has a cloudy eye? Flukes? Bacterial infection? Injury?
Whatever the cause, how do you all go about trying to remedy this?

Secondary bacterial infection due to flukes is the most common cause IME.

I give the fish a pH adjusted freshwater dip or a Prazi-Pro dip, both work well in getting rid of the fluke which is usually the root cause.

Sometimes abrasion can be a problem if the fish was not handled properly, those usually clear themselves up though.

Should I be able to see these flukes with the naked eye?

Many times they hide out in the socket and zoom across the eye every now and again, it's one of those once you've seen them you know what to look for situations. By the time the eye gets cloudy though it becomes more difficult to treat as you are treating for a bacterial infection at that point which is pretty difficult with saltwater fish.

Rabbit fish eyes look more iridescent than cloudy.
