dehumidifier in reef room (recommendations?)

Hi All,

I have a reef tank set up in my bedroom. Its an open top and loses about 1/4-1/2gal a day to evaporation, things get a little clammy for sleeping, especially on hot nights and in the wet winters so I was thinking about getting a dehumidifier. Anyone run one to counter their tank or to just bring down the humidity in a room? Any brand/model recommendations? Everything I've looked at so far seem cheap and nothing online seems to get good reviews...are they even worth it?

Thanks,

Josh

sorry man. Florida boy here. The whole concept of the need for a dehimidifier in CA is a little strange to me. I am just happy that I can actually get dry when I get out of the shower.

I would think though it might make things more comfortable for you it would only make your evaporation from your tank worse.
