Downgrade from 250w bulbs to 175w

Hello. I'm thinking of changing my lighting from 2x-250w to 2x-175w. It's a mix reef, bb, 24" deep. All my corals are easy to keep. Anyone else downgraded their lighting? What kind of stuff should I expect? TIA

Bernie try the iwasaki 15k 175w they have par 86 comparable to alot of 250w bulbs. I am using one.

Thanks D. I'll be changing my bulbs in April. So I'm in the market for a dual 175w ballasts.

I'm trying to cut back on the display because I'm setting up a 20-gal frag tank. I'll be using a 150 on the frag. So my energy use should be about the same.
