Is the Elos mag test kit reliable? Has anyone used it before?

Very accurate. Ocean Treasures has it but do not know the price.

From what I know its not that great. I would get the seachem mag test kit instead.

seachem is nice but takes a long time. the calcium is actually precipitated from the water and filtered out to give a more accurate reading.

I was using salifert and switched to Elos. Now I'm switching back to salifert. If I'm correct Elos you had to add many drops for the mag test, if I'm correct. Their are certain tests I do with Elos cause of its distinct color and some I like with salifert.

I love the Elos MG test. Not sure why you don't, or maybe you don't know anything about it? :D

I prefer the SeaChem as well, the color change is very distinct.
