Fixing old old old projector

Sorry I'm asking all these questions guys.

But does anyone have any experience with repairing old projectors? Specifically an old zenith 3-bulb projector. Bulbs flick on but then right off. Thoughts and ideas appreciated, I'm researching online too.

Not sure how to fix it but I have an InFocus LP640 for sale for only $300 ;D .. Unit in great condition. Bulb still have plenty of life..

Haha gosh dang it Phong, we should just sit down one day and list everything we have that we could possible trade each other. How old is it? I might be interested if fixing the other one is too cost prohibitive.

Don't know how old. It looks new LOL .. I know it was used very little. You can have it for couple week to test it out. If you don't like it, bring it back. ;)

Yeah I have a lot of junks ;D ..

bad bulbs turn off after firing up, could be that. It's one of those giant RGB unit, huh? Let me ask a friend, he's Runco's top tech consultant :) http://www.runco.com/

I know some of the unit shutoff when it's time to replace the bulb. Even after replace the bulb you still have to reset it for it to work. Kinda like the oil change light in your car. I'm not sure if this is the case for you unit.
