Frogspwan vs Monti Digi

Is there any reason why I couldn't put a monti digi next to a frog spawn? Will the F/S bother the monti?

The frogspawn will take out the monti digi. I'm really suprised at how fast my frogspawn has grown. It is close to a frag of orange digi, that is losing the battle.

Usual rule of thumb LPS corals will beat SPS corals..

Only SPS coral I think might destroy an LPS is hydnophora but then again I haven't had one because I'm skerd!

Is hydnophora a true SPS? But FWIW, I've had both a torch and a frogspawn take out a good chunk of a hydnophora before.

hydnophoras are pretty relentless...i have a rigida thats been growing out and has taken out acros, montis, and anything else i place within 1-2'' of it...

to aswer the question, i wouldnt put anything too close to the frogspawn...they send out sweepers that get pretty long and things start to get messy...there are a few exeptions ive found...ive had a hammer and a F/S live in such close quarters they touched when fully expanded...niether seemed bothered by it..i placed the hammer by a torch and they are currently growing next to each other...i tried it with a F/S head and the torch made short work of it...
