Giving away LT plate - Warning - It's not doing well

Hey all,

It appears the worst has happened, after only three weeks in my tank, the LT Plate I got is dying. I checked this evening and the flesh on the rear half of the coral is totally gone. I feel a lot of regret getting this coral and am sorry I wasn't able to take care of it well enough. I should have done more research beforehand. In fact, if I had checked here first, I wouldn't have gotten it.

That said, I was wondering if someone who has a better/more established tank is willing to take it home and try to nurse it back to health. I'm not trying to pawn off my problems on someone else, I will certainly do my best to keep it alive, but I think it's clear that something is giving it trouble in my tank. I'm not sure if it's the diatom bloom I'm going through or the hermit crabs or what.

If anyone is able to make it out here to pick it up, please let me know. I'm located in Danville.

Thanks

Mike

Hey Mike,

If it will survive through tomorrow I can pick it up while buying my last minute gifts.

Thank you Matt. I wish I could repay your earlier kindness with something other than a burden. Let me know when you're able to come by, I will be home around 630. I really hope you're able to bring it back, your system is much more established and well maintained than mine.

Thanks again

Hopefully Matt can recover it, however for the most part once there is tissue damage on LT plates typically they are gone.
