Anyone know how much light/flow green slimer acros like? I bought one a few weeks ago, and while it's growing fast, it's starting to brown on me. I've got it about mid-high in the tank...should I put it lower? Or higher?

Hight light and high flow.

There could be some other stuff in the tank that causing it to brown out.

Yah, higher.

Corals can brown a bit as they adjust to a new tank too.

Really - green slimmers can turn brown. Did not know that. I had mine on the bottom of my 65 with T5's and it stayed green - didn't grow much till i moved it to the top. I thought green slimmers are one the easiest SPS to take care off.

Hmm, okay thanks - I may try to leave it alone for a bit, and if it continues to lose color, I'll move it up. I'm not 100% positive it's a green slimer, that's just what AG sold it to me as. :) When I got it it was green/brown in color with brown polyps, and now it's mostly a tan color.

My other corals seem to be holding color okay, so I'm not sure why this one isn't.

I don't know what that is - it doesn't look like a slimer.

It looks real purty though ;D
