Happy Juneteenth everyone, and happy to see it is now recognized as an official federal holiday.

Commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, the last of which were freed in Texas, 2 years after the emancipation proclamation.

First new federal holiday since Martin Luther King day was recognized 38 years ago!
