Hey Jim(bookfish), Colony/Frag question

Out of curiosity those mini-colonies that you guys donated to the frag swap (big thanks btw), I assume they grew from little 1-2" frags (from Rich & your trip to the island). How long does it take under your nice conditions ("infinite" water changes of nice ocean water + free sun) to get to the sizes that we saw?

Actually, we see growth rates as quick as 3 months.

Those mini-colonies were awesome! I didn't win one unfortunately. Any stores selling them in the Bay Area?
