How do you use the search function to search members?

when i use adv search and go to search "by user", It seems this function does not work.
What is the "*" for ? I searched with and without it. Both ways do not seem to work.

If you are looking for member, use the MEMBERS button - Search For Members.

You use the search and adv search to look up thread.. You suppose to replace the * with the username if you know who post it. If you don't delete it.

Try to search "Drill" and enter Elite at the username..

If you want to figure out posts by one person, click on their name in any message then at the bottom there's an option to search for their posts.

okay so when using the adv feature, I have to enter the members name AND the search term?
If I click on your name Mike, at the bottom there is a option to search for their LAST post not all thier posts? Is that right?
