How long can I leave SW in a container?

I hate mixing 2-3G for WC everyweek. How long can I leave unuse SW in a closed container (no pump/heater)? I want to mix like 10-15G each time. That would last me 5-6 weeks.

I keep water in jugs routinely for a least a week without any problems. 5-6 weeks I'm not sure, but I'd bet it's not a big deal.

after 5-6 weeks you'll notice a drop in ALK most likely (I do)

I think you're suppose to store it in a dark and cool place. Before using some people aerate the saltwater to dissolve oxygen.

I can leave the container out of the sun. The container has lid. I can throw a pump in there before using.
