How do you tell the difference between Cephastrea sp. and Turbinaria sp.?
Most Turbinaria I see in LFS's, look like circular discs/plates that sort of stretch upwards a bit -like a little dish. The polyps seem to look more spaced out than the latter as well.
Likewise with Cephastrea, most seem to be predominately "encrusting," with polyps that are positioned more densely.
Just looking for clarification.
