Who is using hydra LED. Care to share your setting preset and your experience?
I have been using david saxby for a while. But planning on experimenting with the AB+.

This what I use on my hydra 52. Pretty good so far. I only had the light for 1 month tho.

I used AB+ on hydras for years. Got great growth. In fact all my growth was on hydras with AB+

Did you created the AB or you used someones preset?

I created it from the BRS templates. If you join the prime/hydra facebook page they have a lot of really terrible and bad for your tank presets, and a few good ones.

Mind sharing your preset? Where did you find the brs templet?

You don’t need the respiration. These were for the prime’s. You’ll need a different setting for the 52’s Or 26’s. They are just slightly different. Look at the BRS video on it. I’ll look to see if I can find it.

One thing that confuses me with the AB spectrum is how low the white is.
Are we saying the white is not much beneficiary to coral growth and health?

Yes and no. The whites are just too overpowered on these fixtures, and there are more of them. For exampl...three white LED’s vs only 1 UV

And when you see it you’ll see that it’s plenty white to the eye. Any plenty of PAR

Btw chris, this is not same spectrum as in the BRS vid..am I missing something? Or did you change it to reduce intensity?

Primes and hydras are different. I also reduced the whites a bit because it’s too much in my opinion
