Are there any action items on the plate members might want to way in on?

Still assembling agenda items, but so far we have:

- BAR philanthropic donation criteria, budget, and goals
- Dues committee report
- Feb 08 Swap details
- Rough budget schedule/plan including reserve
- Sponsor evaluation criteria
- "Buying Club" / Group Buy concerns

Seems three action items above are ones that are being revisitted (ie. been talked about in the past in pretty good detail).

Some were talked about but never followed up on - WIBGI style. Others need to be revisited because sometimes things need to be revisited. :D

Yep. There have been tons of WIBI items.

We have to take them a few at a time and stay focused to follow up on them.

I'll be there to discuss inter club philanthropy, and the communication I've had with other clubs regarding disaster relief, and the spreading of DBTC.

Feb. 8th swap, I'm sure we could go on, and on...... Don't mind the growling in the corner...

Count me out on anything that involves $$$, I'm a dipstick (thanks R.P. Coltrane for verbage) with $$$$

WIBGI we could make stuff happen?

Guys, it is after all a member only + in good standing fragswap. I know there are a few cross over members, but not many really. In the past I would say it is rude, but there was quite an effort made to let the public know this upcoming BAR swap is closed to non members or ones not in good standing. To me it kind of looks like BAR is the one that kinda gave MARS (+other clubs) the rub off and said they and other clubs would have to sit this BAR swap out. Mind you this is the swap the up till now has been the regional swap. The loss was noticed and filled by MARS.

They coulda pick a week after or before but why on the same date?? I have to agree with Jim and Rich's post on RC. I was going to say something but I'm not "qualify" to say anything ;D ..

The "new" MARS is not like in the old day but that is their problem :D ..

Sorry to highjack the thread guys :) ..

I gotta agree a bit with Gresham here, back to back member only swaps might rub other clubs the wrong way. Whether what MARS did was intentional, eh who knows. But don't they also have meetings/events on the 2nd Saturday of each month normally?

But regardless, man I would love to add some 2 cent comments at the meeting, unfortunately I get back from Kauai that morning so I most likely won't want to be driving anywhere, hell if you had the meeting in my living room I probably would be too tired to go :D

What chaps me is that they posted about their event without asking first - like all the clubs have done to aid in avoiding double booking just like this. Had they asked, this might not be a problem at all.

Asked who, the keepers of the BAR RC forum? BAR has NO rights to that forum Rich, none. Well, BAR can get threads stickied :)

BAR made it's bed and now it's complaining about not having anyone to share it with, yet it kicked all non club members out of nthe house for this one. How do you think other clubs viewed that move? Think they feel great about BAR saying they can't attend a tradional regional swap? you have to ask youself, what would BAR do?
