Good point.

There is sometimes some good/nuanced/interesting value buried in their threads though, which is why I have restarted looking at this site a few months ago.

But some stuff is very cringe worthy (especially these RHF lives…).

That site is toxic and the moderators have a culture problem. I refuse to participate in anything R2R after one of their influencers tried to get everyone who was offering 3d printed parts in trouble. It wasn't until I pointed out allowing people to sell frags but not 3d prints was inconsistent, then they tried to scrape money from anyone selling 3d prints.

R2R is a dumpster fire and the community would be better without their influence.

BTW, that threads seems very "off-topic" by their enforcement standards. If you aren't allowed to discuss sexual preference, you aren't allowed to talk about your favorite or least favorite locations. Their rules state all conversations should be aquarium related. I M sure we won't see universal enforcement of the rules here though.

I am glad these never show up in my feeds.

I am also not interested in engaging in political discussions.

I just felt that these jokers did not need to bash California in a reef forum, for whatever reasons.

But as Robert said, no one seems to enforce their own rules.
