LED's and lighting and micro mini

Hey all...

I wanted to see what you guys think of lighting a micro mini frag tank with LED's.....

It will be like .5 gal in my sump area

What kind of LED's, power, usuage, etc

You should check out the lighting section of nano-reef. They have many projects to look at.

A quick and dirty answer is cree xr-e or MC or XPE, or rebel tffc, or soul SCC between 700-1000mA. You'll want the equiv of about 6-12 single die emitters and most likely with 40deg optics.
