LPS dip

Lugol's is ok. Or if you use tincture of iodine, double the dosage compared to Lugol's.

Povidone and Revive are both gentler on the coral.

And how long a dip should I be looking at with a Lugol's dip? Is there a certain concentration I should go by - or just follow as such on the bottle?

[/quote]I make a light tea color and dip for ~10 min. as Norman stated, providone is much easier on the corals. Revive is real easy on the corals, I'm really liking that stuff.

Excuse my lack of knowing -
Where can I get my hands on some providone locally ,how much will it run me, and will it knock off regular planaria flat worms?
Can I put all my rocks and corals into a a couple big boxes and bomb everything with flatworm eXit?

You can find it at Rite Aid, Walgreens, Longs, etc. It should run around $10-12 a pint. It will take care of your FW that are on the coral, but I'd imagine you have a few on your rocks, sand, and glass. If you have a flatworm issue, unless the corals are getting smothered by them I wouldn't be so worried about it they cycle, I always have a few of them in my tank, they come and go.

The reason I ask is not getting rid of the flatworms myself, but all the rocks and corals are going into someone else's tank. I want to make sure I transfer as little as possible.
How long is a Providone dip usually recommended for?

Yep, what Jeremy said.

If you're giving rocks to a friend, just clean them off in a bucket of salt water. Swish them around or even blast them with a powerhead to get rid of detritus and planaria or whatever.
