Don't worry Josh, if memory serves me (which it very easily might not), that was the same place where Borneman had his big thread about his tank melt down, he went so far as to say someone must have purposefully sabotaged his system. I believe he closed the thread shortly there after when some other rumors started poking up involving corals he should not have had in his tank (however that one I don't know the validity to)

To answer your question Josh, I don't visit forums that have heavy moderation from a business/financial perspective. It doesn't make for open conversation. RC is about as far as I stick my toes in that water, and I barely go there anymore just because most of it is white noise.

I tried to have a discussion with Eric Borneman about the *possibility* that dosed ascorbic acid might promote coral health as a antioxidant and/or in collagen production (some evidence in the literature). I'm not a marine chemist or coral expert so I was trying my best to make this case to him and he gave valuable feedback, but when he frustrated and misunderstood some things (image that on forum debate) he said he wouldn't waste his time anymore, BUT would keep the thread "open" as if it was malcontent. I thought this was a little dictating, but then again it is "Corals and Coral Reefs with Eric Borneman".
Tuberider/Gresham,
I'm actually thinking about trying to run a ascorbic acid experiment to look at the recovery time of bleached corals from oxidative stress, anyone BAR members that have experience with marine/lab work?
Thanks,
Josh
