I’m in the process of replacing some of my powerheads on my 300g which is a mix of MP40s, Neptune WAVs, and old 1st gen Maxspect Gyre. While I loved how the Gyre generated flow, the high pitched wine was somewhat unacceptable. Does anyone have experience with the newer ones? And, specifically, are they a lot quieter? and relative to an MP40? which is my reference.
