Is there any possibility to get some swaps back on the other end of the bay? The South Bay is just a trek from the east bay and it seems to be the go to spot now for these events.
We are looking into places. Unfortunately prices have gone up big time. And availability. If you guys know a place or have the hook up. It would help the club immensely.

This is located pretty central on the peninsula. A strong factor is also the great price the club receives on this place and the facilities that include tables and chairs.

As a fyi The Avg place we've come across is 3-4k to rent. So it’s been fairly challenging to find something similar in both facilities and price range compared to this specific facility.

Yet I don't mean to imply we aren't looking for other options as well.

So by all means we would love to learn of other reasonable priced venves with adquate facilities. So if you know of some please reach out to me.

I’m in South Bay in San Jose and this is about an hour from me. How far is it from you? I thought this was pretty central to everyone.

We had one swap in San Jose 10min from my place and honestly I’d much rather drive to this Brisbane venue because it’s nice

This was more of a suggestion/question as I remember the swaps going back and forth through the years, the drives not bad from me being in Oakland but we have a bunch of concordians and the like who would benefit from the alternating sides of the bay approach and was just curious if it was possible to have that back again.

don't make it too complicated with the drive. you guys have members who are in the central valley driving to the bay area which is over a hour+ drive.

BOD's doing the best they can to promote the club and get as much meetings as possible. they are doing an awesome job and i appreciate their hard work.

Definitely feel free to set up car pools. It's fun and cool to connect with members near you.

i remember a few years back there was a frag swap at someone's house. is there a reason it can't be held in someone's garage? that 3k the club would save can go towards equipment or something. just a thought

The Mission Blue center costs us less than $3000. Which also adds to making it a very favorable location.
I assume they like us and we get a great deal as a club.

I won't disclose the actual price on a public forum. Outta respect to our arrangements with them. If anyone wants to know the exact amount feel free to attend a bod meeting and ask there.

The 3-4k was only mentioned as a refrence point of normal going rate for average facility rental. That could accommodate us with space and people capacity to conduct a bar frag swap.
