Ok last night decided to take the thing apart and figure out why it was running, the needle wheel was closed and the line was pluged...thats what I get for getting used stuff. Anyways...what is a good bubble count to shoot for? I am now carefully watching my PH. : )

Don't worry too much about bubble count rather look for the ph of the effluent of 6.7 -

Nope I haven't setup my calcium reactor yet. I am trying to finish the two part stuff first - really need to get it out of the garage.

Yep I would agree much lower the 6.7 and your media can turn to mush.
