We found our Royal Gramma who went missing for 3 days in the skimmer box. He was upset because I got new rock and also gave him a new tank mate. We couldn't find him on the floor either. Then I saw him poke his head out of the water to look for food.

I've never seen a clown jump, so I would look in equipment. Good luck in finding her.

We hope you find him. I know one of our clowns has gone missing, hiding, for days at a time.

Not that much place to hide in a 12G tank... I didn't see her this morning but I thought she just hide somewhere. I'm redoing the rock tonight. Hopefully I'm wrong. :-[

yay! glad you found her!

I once tore apart a good bit of plumbing trying to find a fish that later turned out to be just taking a nap under a rock.

Maybe went over the back wall of the cube on the return pump side?

She was in a hiden section area. The return pump covered that hole. I had to pull out the return to clean. She swam out the return area after I removed the pump.

Thanks Lyn.. me too :)

Obviously you haven't seen finding Nemo, she was most likely trying to clog up the filter so you would have to take her out of the tank to clean it so she could roll out your window and back into the ocean and find her dad...........

Same with my female ocellaris, but then i got a new one and it fought with my ocellaris i still had so I ended up with a 8 month old pair of Black ocellaris.

i know for a fact that clowns jump. I have had my female jump out of the tank two or three times now. I have covers now, but on the hot days when i try and let it cool off atnight, she seems to jump. I have also had a lion fish jump out, and a mandarin dragonette. I have found a chromis or two in the filtersock as well.

LION FISH!?!? Yikes! don't even wanna know how you got him back in the tank! My old plain Ocellaris used to be jumpers but now That I have a paired up pair of black ocellaris, they just stay in their little comfy trench all day.
