A dip in boiling water first helps a lotI’m ghetto. Cut some ro tubing or drip tubing. Squeeze the air line tubing over drip tubing. Small zip tie. Call it good.

I still cable tie my hose barbs since the PVC tubing sometimes doesn't create a great seal and if you lose the suction, you could end up with air in the line leading to inaccurate dosing.Amazon.com: 22 Pcs Hose Barb Fittings Assortment,11 Sizes of Equal and Unequal Barbed Hose Fittings, Pipe Connectors, Joint Splicers, and Menders for Aquarium, Household, Fuel, Gas, Liquid, Air Hose Repair : Industrial & Scientific

Why are you using check valves? Just go tube to barb to tube. And this is not working. Incredible how difficult this is…very annoying.
It is not sucking the liquid from the container.

Either the icecap container or the pump should have come with the hose barbs in the box. Just be sure to cable tie the connections with tiny cable ties like I mentioned.Thanks. My initial idea (not posted here) was to use the RO tubing I had on the previous pump, not the airline tubing. Will try it differently.
You're losing your siphon, either your tubes are letting air in on the barbs and you need to cable tie them, or your connection from the dip tube in the container is cracked and needs to be sealed with acrylic glue. The drama continues. 5 more days until my vacation and Ca Dosing on the nano tank is still not working.
I was able to set it up, primed it, calibration was spot on 2ml/min.
However, the liquid does not stay in the tubing and it seems to go back into the container after a while. So when it doses again there is nothing in the tubing and it takes some time until it pumps it back up all the way.
What could be wrong?

Make sure it's sealed well on the connection on the inside of the container with the dip tube. If it's cracked or not glued, it could break the siphon:Ziptied everything, replaced the container. It still seems to siphon. Could the issue be with the tubing opening where the liquid is dispensed into the water?
