some kind of tubanaria i think, anyway since i don't have a saw (like the one jeremy brought) or for that matter nerves of steel (like jeremy) i think i'll dremel some grooves and finish with a hammer and screwdriver.

i'm not sure what this next one is but i'll frag with dremel as well

these will be at the next meeting in dec , i will post them in dbtc as soon as you folks help me id them and then i'll frag em.

First one looks like a pagoda, the third one a mycedium (sp)., the last looks like a plain old purple rim cap cap. Not sure about the second one.

the first one .....pagoda? like a cup coral? this one is actually growing over a rock .....i'll take another picture with polyps retracted and you'll see what i mean.

Let me know if you want some help. I have a skill saw with a masonry blade for larger items. It's not as pretty as a mounted tile saw but it works really well for thick stuff. I also have a large cut off wheel for my dremel which comes in handy since it's so much larger than than a small diamond wheel. lmk

Ohhh, links?

I got some of those larger wheels too, was at the county fair or something and there's always those guys selling the "used" dental equipment and the like, well sure enough saw some of these diamond wheels he was selling for $3 for 2 or something... sounded like a deal and way better than the $18.95 that home depot sells for the "official" dremel one

A quick search on amazon yields THIS you can see in the picture the larger sized wheel.

Harbor Freight is your friend.... ;D http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=31501 5 wheels and the mandrel for $4 They have a few stores around the bay area or if you need a wheel or two I have some spare in the east bay.
