Starting to set up my new old tank in the garage, so I can test it. Hooked up the two pumps with associated plumbing, and filled. Unfortunately, forgot about the overflow plumbing to the sump. What a mess! Fortunately though, the stand contained the water. Anyway, is there a preferance between hard plumbing versus flexible tubing for the return from the overflow (internal)? PVC would require 45s and a union. Flexible would be easier, cheaper. What do you have and why?

Don't expect too much flex from the spa flex without putting too much tension on your couplers. You may want to run a sweep off of the bulkhead then use the spa flex to fudge anything that is not perfectly aligned.
