. Also, the Jaubert method had been described to people in the US industry well before it became mainstream.
The reason I say old school in regard the the Jaubert method is that not too many people use it any more, where the Berlin method is still in use on a wide scale basis.
By modified Berlin I speaking of having a SSB while skimming like crazy, or adding a refugium to a BB system, which is what I've incorporated over the years into my setups. In reality I come from the Moe school of reefing and was energized when Sprung and Delbeek published their book.
