Hello all,

I’ve had 4 bricks in my sump for several months with intention to trade with other people to improve the biome in my reef.
Does anyone in the club do this already?
I know pests might steer people away from this. But I think the club would be a cool place to trade a few of these bricks.

Thanks

I always have bricks to swap out for new ones. I have around 12 available at all times between all my systems.

I use Maxspect nano-tech bio blocks - pretty sure it’s the exact same thing as polyp lab just slightly different color and logo, but less costly
I seeded my tank with 2 blocks from Randy and had great success.

Find someone whos tank you want to emulate and hopefully they’ll have some media to share.

I just ordered 2 blocks. I will get ahold of you when they come in. I appreciate it!

That's why I brought as much rubble from my old tanks as I could to my new ones.

I just bought 4 I'm cooking up in a bucket with PNS bacteria. Would be cool if people did microbiome analyses before and after trades.
Sorry one more - these were my nitrates during heavy PNS Probio dosing - took several months to bring them down. Some nice thick cyano along thee way. All the ones from the left above the green area. I had stopped dosing this in mid June.
