Recirculating skimmer

Looking for a new recirculating skimmer for a 57G tank. What would you recommend?
I'm planning on using drain water to feed the skimmer.

Old school but the mod kicks butt.
Euroreef 6-2, you'd need to drill a second hole for the recirculation and of course the feed inlet. If you go this route LMK.

How does water level control work when you are using return line to feed the skimmer?
Wouldn't I be trading one problem for another?
If somehow the outtake is less than intake because gate valve or whatever is used to regulate water level gets messed up, I would get overflow in display, right?
I'm at the point that I really need to change skimmers. I've had 3 skimmer overflow in this week.
I just can't find out why.
I've made my own DIY skimmate locker and my Reef Angel sends me text message when this happens and shuts the skimmer off, but I'm treating the symptom here and not the cause.
So, I guess I now find it safer to use a regular skimmer with a skimmate locker and the controller monitoring for overflow.
With that said, I'd like your opinion on skimmer for a 57gal tank.
I currently use a RS135 with mods. Some thing the same size or smaller. I have a 10" compartment on my sump.

I really like my H&S skimmers. I think you can get away with a A110.

I got the A110 for a friend... POS IMO :( It just doesn't skim much no matter what we do to it... new pump, water lever in every imaginable position, etc. etc. My friend mentions how I got him to buy it every time I visit. One of these days I'll bring a AeroForce and be done with it....

AeroForce (CPR) is what I use on my 75g system, I love it.

so the take away is, he has a 50:50 chance of it working for him, giving the two reviews

I don't want to be reminded by Roberto (like Gresh's friend) at every BAR meeting if it doesn't work out.

Aeroforce it is ! ;)

Ugh I completely missed a key element of this thread...

I was thinking of the in sump mode - 90-F1000... Different model than what Jim is talking about. My over all experience with H&S is outstanding if you remove that one skimmer from all my experience :)

Forget what I said (and the AeroForce is not a skimmer to run off your overflow.

Someday I'll read threads all the way
