Having lots of fun feeding the corals today. Shaving frozen squid then letting thaw in the tank water. The kids think this is the best thing ever, so far we have watched the rose anenomes eat a few pieces as well as the tube worm take some. The blastomussa and bubble tip didnt take it though so wondering if they want something else. What do you feed yours.

Mysis and arctipods work well for my LPS.

The cube mysis right. That gets instantly eaten by the fish. I have phyto fest, not the artipods that close enough. Going to have to figure out how to use the tunze controller thingy, we were happy to get it running. We must seem pretty silly to have a 180 reef and not know how all this stuff works. I did take the skimmer apart to clean it today. Pretty interesting how it works, tommorrow ill put it in and see how it runs. Been reading on how to tune it.

Nope I use the PE Mysis. I usually get the 4oz packs and just chop off some and that it in a little mixing bottle. I feed my LPS when the lights go off so the fish don't get it all.

This horrible, but totally fun in a sortof sick way... but get some live brine shrimp from the LFS (one ounce is plenty!), then dump them in. They'll swim around and get eaten by EVERYTHING. It's horrible, but watching a zoo eat a brine shrimp is fascinating.

I'm not normally cruel or anything, but I figure this is part of nature and it seems like everything in the reef loves to eat those poor brine shrimp!
