replaced bulb, only to fry ballast

I finally got around to picking up more actinics. I race home and replace the first one, fire it up and it works. Do the same for the second, the GFCI trips and nothing happens Move wires around, try other ballasts/plugs and sure enough, it looks like I fried my ballast. I open the thing up, looks fine. I post this thread and think it's dead. Well, I just got a stupid idea that hmm, maybe it was switched off So why am I posting this? Cuz I can't erase it and it shows, even after years of reefing, you can fall for the stupidest mistakes ever

After a decade of doing sound/lighting work, you'd think that would have been the first thing I did. I didn't turn that switch off though, it tripped on it's own.
