Ricordea

I got this large ricordea from Levi and it was doing great in my tank for the last 2 week. It was expanded and really large. The last few days it's been shriveled up and yesterday i saw some brown stuff excreated fro mthe mouth. Is the Ricordea dying ?

Even Ric's gotta poo! They are a lot other corals, in that they will swell and shrink from time to time as a way to exchange or refesh or what ever ... well you get the idea. Sounds like they are doing fine. If it's happy it shouldn't be like that for long.

As long as it isn't melting, bleaching, or constantly shriveled, then all should be well.

I agree however one of the first signs of something going wrong with ric's is that. I would put it in a spot of really low flow in low lighting if it is not in one already.
