Picked up a 67mm Rise (UK) full brown filter on eBay for use with my iPhone and figured I’d share a couple of quick pics of the results. I’m pretty impressed with how the pics turned out. You need to attach it with a filter holder which can be purchased from shopmoment.com. Since I have a 3D printer I just put one together on tinkercad and printed it out. It’s not as pretty as the moment one, but it does the job. I have the stl/gcode file for anyone interested in printing one yourself. Pics taken with iPhone 11/portrait mode. The first pic is with all my lights on/no filter. Second pic with filter on/no post processing.

I’ll upload the files sometime tomorrow. They’re in my MacBook and it’s out of juice. My power cord is arriving tomorrow…my 3rd one since owning this thing…sigh. I can just upload the file like the pics?

That’s cool. I like the holder you made!

I’ve noticed the best color of the filter really depends on the color your lights are set to. There isn’t 1 best color filter. More yellow if you have lights set more blue, and more orange/brown if the lights are more balanced.

For example here’s a pic I just took of the 2 filters in my orphek kit, with the recommended use color temps labeled on the sides-

I bought the orphek set a week ago and have been happy with the amber and yellow lenses.

Nice to be able to snag photos of things without the awful blue saturation.

Oh wow...I thought those lens kits were much more expensive. Might have been easier for me to just purchase the kit. Anyways, I thought I could just attach the files here. I'm going to set something up on thingyverse and post the link here for those interested. You can modify the stl file to however it suits your needs. I separated the part that keeps the filter on the phone. Printing it as one piece just took too long due to the supports needed. Just scrape out the supports in the slot were it attaches to and use some superglue to hold it in place. Just a bit of tension on the screw/bolt will hold the unit in place...no need to tighten too much.

I don’t think your post is live yet, I get a 404 error
You're right...not sure what the issue is. I got the same error when I signed out and clicked the link. The download page shows up when I'm signed in. It's probably something I didn't do correctly on the upload. Let me try to figure it out tonight.

How large is that filter? I just picked up the Galaxy S21 ultra and the camera on the back of this is huge.
The lens is 67mm the od is a little bigger, can't remember exactly but I think 71mm. I took a look at the s21...the camera portion is pretty big. If you get me the exact dimensions of that I might be able to adjust the opening for you. I'm not sure what's going on with the file download...doesn't appear to work still. I'll mess with it when I get in later tonight.

I have to create a group in order to publish on thingyverse. Since it's a new account, I'm not allowed to create one. Just shoot me a pm with your email if you want the file and I'll email it to you.
