What are you hardcore LPS guys using to spot feed corals that are hard to reach?

I have to be creative in LPS placement in my tank sos I don't bleach 'em.

Don't worry Gresham, I'm not going to pump them full, I just need to get the food down to them. ;)

I've been toying with the idea to use a syringe and airline tubing but today I use a 12 inch thin turkey baster dealio by H2O Life and a gently squeeze.

I hate the turkey baster. Absolutely hate it. to feed well with it, requires too much "chance" in pressure control..plus the big opening.

Recently, I have been using a 10mL syringe with the needle section removed. It work perfectly when I use mysis. Part of the mysis sticks out of the end, and the stickly polyps hold on. Very little waste. For hard to reach areas (doesn't apply to me), I would do as Levi said and use tubing, but rigged instead of the flexible airline.

I use a little plastic syringe that I got when I got my wisdom teeth removed, cut the tip off a bit to allow larger stuff (I feed mysis) to get through. However not exactly a "hard to reach" thing, although I could very easily see some airline tube added to the end of that. But if I can squirt near it simply squirt a bunch of mysis if they don't grab it, tough shit, it floats in the tank and something else eats it.

Hmmmm I was thinking more along the lines of something with a bulb, smaller than a turkey baster, but long enough to reach down into the tank. I'm not a big fan of syringes, dispensing is not a problem, I don't like to use two hands to fill it up. Mebbie I'll stop by County Supply and see what they have and report back later.

I never had problem using short turkey baster when I had the 100G tank. I guess you don't want your hand wet when feeding the coral??

Not really, it's just if the feeder is long then the diameter should be small, I don't want to be pumping too much food into my tank.

That's pretty coold, I just googled it. This is what you are talking about right?
It reaches up to 35 inches. I think I might get one of these too. They seem to go for about $16

Just premix any RN product prior to spot feeding it otherwise the alginate will hold it together. You know I do not recommend spot feeding :D

You know it brother, I just don't want to have to flood my tank with food to feed small LPS frags. Just a little puff (that's what I keep telling myself :D)
