here are a few pics. nothing special since most of the pics i took were blurry.

does anyone have an idea what that monti is. i got it from Matt about 2 1/2 years ago and lost most of the colony when my wife watched the tank last summer.

wow! really nice.. you have a lot of diversity in there... SPS, LPS, softies.. oh my!

(I really need to stock my tank up.. gah.. every one else's tanks seem to make mine look like a LR curing experiment lol)

I read in that one Marine Fish book (the one with tons of fish profiles in it) that the longnose are one of the few butterfly that are somewhat reef safe. They basically said it's because their mouths are so small.

I think I heard someone who was pretty fish savvy say the same thing a while back.. small mouths = limits their food sources.

Apon. The sps in pic one I gor from matt (al g blenny) about 2 1/2 years ago as a 3 in frag. I have fraged it out many times. It's also the one I think I have AEFWs on

Raddogs. I got the long knows about 1 1/2 months ago from tyler at dolphin. I had been eyeing him for 3 weeks there and was a great looking fish that had been eating well. I bought him because I had just recenty come across a few reefers that are having some success with them. It truely is an awsome fish. It has been a perfect fish so far. No picking whatsoever, although I do feed about 3 small meals a day just so he doesn't get hungry and tempted to snack.

And fyi. The table acro in the secound pic is from the frag workshop from nov 05. It really hasn't colored up any but I like that it is turning into a nice sized colony.

Nice monti

Looks similar to what Atlantis calls their "Apple Berry" palawenensis.
