I have the new one...good little unit, very reliable the only downfall is, if it doesn't fill up at least 1 inch of water level it goes into a shut off mode

Very nice!

If you haven’t seen it yet, we have a section of the site for tank journals, which is pretty much what you’ve started here

You could start a new journal there, or one of us could move this thread over there for you, if you want

I have a question, is the forum have alot of posts or when you become a member you have more activity?

Forum is not as busy as national/global forums as we are a local Bay Area group, but I’d say there is a decent amount of activity. You have access to buy sell trade forum and dbtc forum when you become supporting member. Well worth the $30 in most people’s opinions that I have heard.

It’s somewhat unpredictable which threads will see a lot of activity. In general, the more details you tell us, the more conversations it will spark as someone sees something they want to discuss or ask about. Also, generally there is more engagement with Supporting Members than guests, because it signals that you value and want to be a more active part of our community. Also, there’s a lot going on right now in the world and locally so people are understandably distracted.

No hard/fast rules, but generally people say hi on the Welcome subforum, and if you want to have a tank journal with more pics and details, discussion, etc, then it would go in the Tank Journal subforum.
