Tom (northbay-reefer) - any pics of the soft start mod?

They are in use at the moment and I don't have pix yet, as soon as I have a chance I'll make a drawing for ya.
Basically I drilled two holes one on either side of the shroud slightly off center (because of the impeller shaft) and run a fishing line through those holes and tied at the end. The line should be at the same level as the original stopper. Once that is done, I cut and remove the plastic stopper and voila soft start

Great. I did one - tried a little to take a pic, but there wasn't much to see.
I ran the line across the shaft, so we'll see if it gets any wear and tear.
I wanted to do this because I am running the unit on a wavemaker and it started to bind and not start up. The mod seem to be working really well right now though. Interesting, eh?

Cool, I can't wait for the new controller to come out, will let yow know as soon as I get my hand on one
