I'm trying to figure out what's going with the temperature of my tank. My small digital thermometer, which seemed to be reading low lately, had the tank temp at 74.5 this morning. A good thermometer from work, that read the air temp inside accurately, read 82. Two floating therm. in the tank read 80. The two heaters were on, which are normally set at 76 or 77. Left the mh off for today. House temp is about 78 when I get home. My ACII with an old probe was reading low, so I recalibrated it up to where the work therm read. That read 85!! this morning. I don't know what to believe. Corals look OK.
Any ideas?

R.A.I.T. = Redundant Array of Inexpensive Thermometers

I have 2 $3.99 alcohol therms, a pinpoint, an IR heat gun, stick on glass therm and a cheap coralife digital.

I'm seeing the same thing Steve and I'm going to pick up a couple different thermometers this weekend.

I must be really lucky, my two floating therms are spot on next to each other and the pinpoint and cheap one are within 1 degree of that.
