I’ve been in the keeping tanks for my entire life and have been on the salty side for 1 year. I’ve gone through a few tanks. My first tank was a Fluval Evo V, a 5 gallon tank! I filled this tank and learned how to keep coral within a few weeks.

The next tank I got and the tank I currently have is my Red Sea Reefer 170. I purchased it off of craigslist and have been enjoying it! Here are a few pictures of the different stages of coral I have been interested in.

Seeing the XR30 on this tank when I’m just using an AI Prime Really makes me think I need more spread to get the euphylia growth you get.

How’s the algae scrubber doing? Is that what the chaeto was for?

The XR30 is definitely over kill but it gives out awesome spread to my entire tank!

The Algae reactor is doing good a lot of chaeto growth would definitely recommend one. And yes your chaeto is working for me haha

Of all the SPS and LPS I've had over the past 20+ years in this hobby, my favorite tank I had was an ULM system. And hell I didn't even do much in the way of water changes, lots of softies, a good razor blade to scrape the glass clean once a week, and very colorful aggressive fish that seemed to hold each other in check .. and best of all... corals that didn't take years to grow a few inches :D
