I have a 210g and 15g hospital tank.. there is a power outage with no definite time frame on when it will get resolved.. I have a small bubbler at home that I used on my DT, not sure if it’s sufficient on a big tank.. anyone has power backups or anything else that I can borrow immediately? I am in San Jose so anyone nearby who can help me? I don’t know how long it will take for them to fix the issue..

might want to find yourself a nice little gas powered generator on FB market place. My sister used a Honda EU1000 for her 180 gallon. It is silent as mouse.

I got solar installed last month when I got the tank coz I knew this day would come haha.. my wife thinks it is a home improvement project ;)

It’s not operational yet, waiting on PGE to do the inspection and give PTO (permission to operate), but November December is usually the worst time with storms in the area.. Hopefully the can get this done by end of the month

Did you get a battery back up? Mine has save my tank now a couple of times. Low stress when it kicks in.

yes I did.. with NEM 3, It doesnt make a lot of sense to not get one, but anyways my use-case primarily was to get backup in such times!
Swee! I was NEM 2, but still got the battery. It has worked out well for both reducing electricity costs and peace of mind with power outages.

Even with solar you want to get some sort of short term UPS in that there can be a 2-3 second delay between power switch-so the whole system might reboot. Just get something that can handle the wattage as well - it has happened a couple times…

Glad outage as short -hope everything gets operational soon.
