got ethical husbandry?

What are those black spots in my tank?

I just notice this on my tank today. Anyone know what are they and how to get rid of them?

What is the texture? It is attached to rock?
Try to siphon it off. That is safe and may tell you more.

Looks a bit like blobs of Cyano, but not sure at all. Different from the usual thin red film.

Yes, I have a littl cyano spot here and there. I plan on a Chemiclean treatment this week then water change on weekend.

They attached to rock, with a little nipple head. Will try to crush and siphon our during water change. Thx
Vermitid snails, and pliers and maybe bumblebee snails
Let me try to get some bumblebee snail. Thx

These things put out long sweeping feeder strings when they smell food in the water.

They can irritate corals but aren't aggressive. They breed stupid fast though.

You can plug the tip with super glue and they will die.
