I don't think they really make anything smaller. What are you trying to hookup? PVC only goes to 1/2" doesnt it?

to a small return pump.. The MJ900's output is 1/2" so I'm ok.. For some reasons, I thought it's much smaller ::)..

Last time I ordered stuff from McMaster, those idot charged me $130 something for a $11 piece. Took me a whole year to argue with them. They finally gave up. >:(

I order well over $20K a year from them and in the last 5 years I have had zero problems.

You could look into John Guest fittings too they have some workable pieces. Otherwise McMaster, or Savko (who I believe buys from McMaster [who doesn't ;D]).

I guess it's my bad luck. I ordered a PVC pipe (HD doesn't have). I asked them several time about the shipping cost. The guy kept saying what you see on the invoice is what we charged. I didn't finished the order and all the sudden the stuff showed up at my door. They send me an invoice later and I paid for it. A week later, the shipping company sent me another invoice and ask me pay for the shipping. I emailed McMaster and asked them whatzup. They said they screwed up but want me to pay for the shipping anyway. If it was like $10 or $30, I would pay but they wanted over $130 for it so I didn't. They sent me to collection. I forwarded them all the emails but after several threating phone calls, I was pissed. I used all the nice word when they called so they stopped calling me.

I think that is a fluke. I've ordered from McMaster for a bit longer then Gresham spending more money than I want to know about (work /lab purchases) and have had zero problems. Actually ( as I typed this) I can think of 1 problem. One item I ordered (out of a long list) didn't ship. It was a freight item because of size (4x8 polyethyene sheet). They sent me an immediate replacement with zero hassles. A week later I got another one. It turned out that the freight company forgot it on the truck and eventally delivered it. Called McMaster and they said that we can just keep it (free and clear) if we wanted.

Could be.. I'm surprised that they shipped the stuff before me paying. It's not like I ordered stuff from them before. What pissed me off is they said they made a mistake but want me to pay anyway and actually sent it to collection company..

I think they have my record on the S list. No more order from the dude named Phong ;D ..
