Hey guys, thinking about running a kalk reactor for my 40G tank. Will this setup work?

I will hook up the FW pump to the autotopoff switch. It will pump the water into the kalk reactor and from kalk reactor into the tank.

I don't see why not, if it were me I'd make the FW top off container pretty small just in case anything happens to the ATO to cause it to dump the whole thing into your tank.

I have a dual switches topoff controller. So far I haven't had any problem with it. I guess I need to make a kalk reactor now ..

My set up is very similar (sort of)

I have a medical pump that I've adjusted to more-or-less meet the same rate of evaporation. It pumps (pseudo-peristaltic) RO water from my reservoir (a 5 gallon water jug - water cooler style) into my kalkmixer, which then goes into my sump.

So...same thing, but without the level switch.
