    Various PIF frags

@grizfyrfyter sorry I missed CFM (and BAR happenings in general lately). Happy to get you some frags if you're interested @WillU still some frags available of all above, except purple stylo. I've been wanting to make more but my stylo has slowed down its growth due to my lazy reefing lately

    Purple stylophora

Agreed, and I just realized we already had this conversation on this thread in January - sorry about that!

    Purple stylophora

Original Post: @Schmitty I also have a ~4" branch that's been growing out. Not definitively from this chain, but I think there's only one purple stylo strain out there (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I'm in San Ramon if you're interested. Edit: This discussion probably should've had its own...

    Brian's Fluval 13.5

Just completed a tank move (Santa Cruz to San Ramon) over the weekend. Luckily it only took 2 buckets to move livestock, rocks, and water. From start to finish it still took ~6 hours including driving time. Corals seem alright so far . Had to banish my cleaner shrimp to the overflow...

Mold(?) or Algae growing in mixing container

Regular IO leaves brownish slime for me every batch (been using it for the past 2 years but I've debated switching). I've heard of people either scraping it out once a year when it becomes a thick cake, or having a filter inline with their mixing pump.

BAR-B-Q - 6-26 Sunday-Structural Aspects of Aquariums Tank talk - Potluck and grill

Michael, best wishes in Las Vegas! I think a quarter of my 13.5's corals came from your tank. I definitely hope to pay forward that generosity of frags and knowledge

    Brian's Fluval 13.5

Last night I did a 10% water change... and turns out my saltwater mixing bucket was still plain DI water when I refilled the tank. Ended up adding ~5% tank volume in DI and returning 5% of the old saltwater that I hadn't dumped yet. SG dropped by <0.002 My plan is to let salinity slowly rise...

    DBTC: Green bubble coral

I keep misreading this on the home page and thinking we have a DBTC for green bubble algae

    Brian's Fluval 13.5

Only dosing kalk regularly, but I use 2-part for manual alk adjustments. My tank also tends to run low on phosphate (and excess nitrate), so I sporadically dose potassium phosphate when I notice slowing algae growth and corals turning pale/pastel. @kiran @vissen319 join the Fluval club! I look...

    Brian's Fluval 13.5

Another coral growth update Pocillopora bailouts have been popping up. Kinda fun to spot I pulled out 20 or so asterinid stars the other day. Didn't realize there were so many throughout the live rock until I started hunting for them... Once I started spotting them all I couldn't un-see...

    BAR DBTC Classics?

Seeing the thread on Kvosstra's Raspberry Prostrata made me think about all the cool frags that have come through DBTC. What would you all personally nominate as a BAR classic? Even if it's something commonly available - I'd be interested what chains have special stories in BAR history. Even...
