suloco Guest BARcard Dec 1, 2011 #1 I know this is probably a lost cause but is there anything i can do to stop RTN from progressing?
suloco Guest BARcard Dec 1, 2011 #2 any ideas? Attached files /attachments/sites/default/files/IMG-20111201-00416.jpg /attachments/sites/default/files/IMG-20111201-00417.jpg /attachments/sites/default/files/IMG-20111201-00418.jpg

Mr. Ugly Past President BARcard Dec 2, 2011 #6 Fast raise is probably ok. Use baking soda. It won't spike your pH.
Mr. Ugly Past President BARcard Dec 3, 2011 #8 Doublecheck your Ca, Mg, and specific gravity since other parameters may be off along with alk. Doublecheck s.g. again if you have to dose other stuff.

Coral reefer Past President BARcard Dec 3, 2011 #9 Also, I think 11 may be a touch on the high side. Seems for me 9 is the magic number for most sps
suloco Guest BARcard Dec 3, 2011 #10 My most recent numbers are: Mg 1360, KH 9.8, Ca 400, pH 8.3, sg 1.023, temp 76 F
Coral reefer Past President BARcard Dec 3, 2011 #11 Looks great. Usually most of us keep sg around 1.025-6
lattehiatus Past President BARcard Dec 5, 2011 #12 Any luck with slowing down the RTN? BTW, have you checked your PO4 levels? My SPS are unhappy when phosphates are elevated.

suloco Guest BARcard Dec 5, 2011 #13 Hi David, Slowed? maybe, but as of today both frags are gone. On the brighter side my water parameters are much better than they were. And thanks for the sugestion, i will pick up a PO4 test kit soon.
