BOD Meeting and BBQ-Sat May 10th

seminolecpa

Past President
Thought I would throw up an announcement about this pre agenda. The next BOD meeting will be held at my house in Burlingame at 2pm. If there is enough interest, I was thinking of throwing some burgers and brats on my grill and having a pre-meeting BBQ. I am also trying to drum up some of the Pennisula area reefers to show off their tanks. I have a large outdoor area and brick BBQ that would accomodate probably up to 40 people or so. This would be open to BAR members only please.

I was thinking of a 10am start time so things could wind down in time for the meeting. Once details are worked out I will pm attendies my address. If anyone else has some good ideas fire away.

Wish I could come but I have to work and no chance to get a day off, way too busy here on saturdays for the next 5 months. :(

I want to...but it is a low chance with moving this weekend, tank tour the next weekend and BACFM the weekend after. I'm going to say 10% chance in going :p

LOL. Shhh...

He probably would have chimed in already, but he's probably working that saturday so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I should be able to make it. Do we need to bring anything? If so, any lists going?

No list as of yet. Was planning on providing some burgers and brats but by all means if you want BYOM (bring your own meat). Totally open to suggestions. Sounding like it will be generally laid back as maybe about 3 non-BOD people have responded as wanting to come. I am talking with Matt to see if we could swing by his place at some point (though he will tell you his tanks are still recovering from his move). Not sure if the tank tour thing is going to happen as there aren't many showable tanks on the Pennisula (at least of people who are in the club).

Ok so so far I have

Lets push the start time back to 11am since the tank tour seems like it may only be at my place and perhaps Mark's (corals b4 bills).

Jeez what do I have to do offer free frags?

I'm in and expect Jeremy to deliver :D If Ian decides to bring raw seafood I will help clean it up. One vote for Toro :D

LOL, hmm. I probably could do that day. I'll see what I can bring. Toro is too expensive @ 50 a pound wholesale. And last time Doug said the minimum was 2+ pounds. haha Oysters do sound good though.

I can get Ahi sushi grade, big eye toro (when available), bluefin toro, whateva LMK, it's all wholesale, and good. My guy supplies, Whole Foods, Piazza's, Draeger's, most of the fine dining restaurant's....
