Nemo would have been culled for physical imperfection!
But the more I investigate, some of these deformities are related to early nutrition and not genetic.
 
Actually, more like for clown breeder. Most of the hard work has been done by Matt Pederson so all you have to do is get one, or better yet two, and start breeding them. You could quit your day job once the pipeline gets going:)
 
I would rather spend that kind of money to go find them myself. :bigsmile:
If I don't find them at least I would have been to some amazing places!

The defect notes provided by Matt Pedersen are quite refreshing. Captive breeding of marine ornamentals would be better off if every breeder approached their "work" with such a detailed and critical eye.

I suspect many of the bidders are breeders seeing dollar signs. Hopefully a portion of the revenue from the sale of these F1s go towards furthering the work on closing the life cycle of marine fish.
